Loss 16 to 14 to Pittsburgh

I always thought that a defense sacrificed a pass rush to stop the run, or the reverse.  In today’s loss  Philadelphia showed neither.  They could not stop Pittsburgh on the last drive.  This was a very tough loss.  I personally cannot see anything positive from a loss.  The good defense did not show up today.

In fairness to the defense,  Micheal Vick  made their job difficult with his fumble in the first quarter.  That obviously cost  a touchdown and was a real show stopper.  The Philadelphia Eagles did not get in any rythmm until the second half.

I realize that Andy Reid has to control his mind and limit thoughts to the Lions at home.  Even so, job security has to be a big issue with  him now.  The  three wins that should been easier and today’s loss look threatening.
