Cowboys in 1989-Jim Johnson-First Year

The Dallas Cowboys in their first year with  Jim Johnson were 1-15.  Their only victory was in Week 9 at RFK Stadium 13 to 3.  The Washington Redskins fell from Super Bowl Champions to  7-9.

For Dallas-Paul Palmer gained 110 yards in 18 carries.  Kelvin Martin caught five passes for 93 yards.

For Washington-Doug Williams completed 28 of 52 passes for 296 yards.  Art Monk caught eight passes for 98 yards.  Ernest Byner caught nine passes for 97 yards.
