Houston Texans 2013; Won the First Two

The Houston Texans won their first two games in 2013.  They were real exciting games showing a high powered offense  and great come from behind ability.

At  the San Diego Chargers -the Texans Won 31 to 28

This was one of the Great Comebacks of the past 10 years.  The Texans were trailing the Chargers  28 to 7 late in the third quarter.   Houston scored three touchdowns and Randy Bullock kicked a field goal from 41 yards on the last play.   Matt Schaub completed 34 of 45 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns.  Brian Cushing returned an interception 18 yards for a touchdown.  Andre Johnson caught 12 passes for 146 yards.   For San Diego Diego, Phillip Rivers completed 14 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns.   Total yardage 449 for Houston and 263 for the Chargers.  Good passing duo.

At home with the Tennessee Titans-the Texans won 30 to 24.  They were trailing by 24 to 16 with under two minutes to play.

Matt Schaub completed 26 of 48 passes for 290 yards  and three touchdowns.   DeAndre Hopkins caught seven passes for 117 yards and  one touchdown.  DeAndre Johnson caught eight passes 76 yards.  Ben Tate carried nine times to 93 yards. For Tennessee , Jack Locker completed 17 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown.  Chris Johnson gained 96 yards.  Alterraun Verne and Ben Pollard each had an interception for a total of 55 yards. Total yardage was 452 for Houston and 248 for Tennessee.
